Down in the Dumps

It hasn't been a good week in the life of me. I'm feeling pretty listless - an unusual state for me.

We all have times in our lives when we feel down. What do you do to get yourself out of such a state?

seems to be in the air or something...sometimes I like to sink into it a bit and watch a really sad movie (have a good cry)
you can try to find other people even more lisless than you to make yourself feel better, sometimes I change the mood with music, some good loud old school hip hop gets you moving, sometimes you just got to crack (to see whats on the inside. If that doest work a coulpe shots of tequila never hutrt anyone - but I dont recomend that as a cure. :0

I can't say that I've ever gotten myself out of this state. I just let the feelings go on until I'm tired of feeling down...tired of crying....tired of worrying....tired of the grief. Then I get up get out and get on with my life, not letting my issues drag me back down though they're still there and still painful.

Honestly, I go out and get shit faced with my girls and dance. Not the most mature thing to do, but it takes my mind (temporarily) off my worries.

I'm usually alright once I'm around someone that makes me happy. They tend to cheer me up. Try to have a great weekend.

Wallow a bit and then surround yourself with things and people that you love. Sing, dance, shout out loud and have a grand time. Sparklers are good, too. (A little pyrotechnics never hurts.)
