Body Modification
For me it is piercing. I have three piercings in each ear, with an additional cartilage piercing in one. I also have my belly button pierced. To the relief of my family, I have no plans to get anything else pierced. I am content expressing myself through the piercings I have.
In what ways have you modified your body? Does it serve as a form of expression? What does it say about you? If you haven't made any body modifications, are you considering any? What does it say about you?

Hello Brea,
i just found your blog by clicking the "next blog" button. i like your style.
i have three piercings in my right ear, 3 plus 2 cartilage in the left, my navel and my right nostril (or snutril as a friend's kid used to call it).
um, the ears meant nothing. the belly button was a lark. and the nose was the most recent and my soon to be ex hated it. i had no idea before doing it, but said, oh well, deal with it.
i have a small 12 year old tattoo on my left shoulder and a new larger one on my right shoulder. they just say that i am the boss of me and if someone doesn't like em they can walk away.
thanks for asking.

I am having all of my body hair lasered off. It says about me that I am too lazy to shave :)
Happy belated birthday!!!! I feel aweful that it took me so long to say something. I was soo stressed about cooking Thanksgiving dinner this year I could barely remember my name...
I have only done the hair color thing.
Though I have thought about others.
besides having one piercing in each lobe, I have a cartilage piercing in one ear. I've thought about getting a tattoo, but if when I think about inking my body, I can't think of anything meaningful that I'd like to permantly mark in my skin, I figure maybe I shouldn't do it.
I think my piercing is a small touch of rebellion. You see, I was the squeaky clean kid. Still, when I go back to my hometown people are always talking about Diane and Ira's good girls! I get sick and tired of people watching my every move, judging me...so I figured I'd give them something to gasp at. Now, for most people, a little cartilage piercing really isnt't that big of a deal, at least that's how I see it, but many folks back home who know me seemed a little disturbed. Just the way I like it.
All of the body modifications that I want to do involve me losing weight and toning up. Yes, I think I'm a beautiful person (don't mean to sound vain), but I have to be honest and say that I don't like seeing the extra weight when I look in the mirror. Most importantly though, my health is a major concern. If I talk the talk, then I gotta walk the walk!
I have one Tat a butterfly on my tailbone.
It says that I am fearless...even though I can't tell sometimes...lol:)
I think I should get my belly pierced the right way...
well my modification was simple. i changed my black hair to red, well ruby rage. it suited me nicely. my friend even put that same colour in her hair but she left it in too long, so she didnt look too good. i always thought of getting a tattoo but i feel that i will regret it. but i always said that if i am to get a tattoo, it will be a lion over my back. yes that would be painful, that's why it is only a thought.
